Delicacies and Questions!

Hi  Everybody!
It was very nice to read the blogs of our groups. At least I had to find there are so many gourmetpeople among us.
So I decided to tell  you about my experiences with two of my grandsons.
On the 19th  October I had invited Daniel and Tuomas to Tampere. It was my birthday present to Daniel 11 years. At first we saw the musical Adams Family. It was really funny, just good for all of  us three.
After that we had dinner. Daniel had to choose the place. It was clear we did not want to go to any Hamburger. So his decision was Restaurant Astor.
In the practised manner they studied the menucard. Both of them found they have never eated escargots. So we ordered them as starter.
The boys liked them so much I was happy to get two pieces!
Then the main course. Daniel wanted to taste pigeon
                                                                              and Tuomas reindeer fillet.
For the dessert one boy did choose banana baked in                  And the other mangosorbet.
the oven.
We had our water to drink in wineglasses, so it was nice for me to show how to make a toast.
Even for me it was a lovely afternoon with two young gentlemen!

Unfortunally our group has been very busy last weeks, so we haven`t had any time to meet or discuss.
Sirpa has enough to do with her english groups, Birgit has to work hard as CEO of the hotell and I am busy with several organisations, grandchildren and many hobbies! But every Monday I have my english lessons.
For next meeting I have following questions:
1.How can we use Skype for group meeting?
2.How can we use Drive for group meeting?

Hopefully we can make some plans now on the Wednesday.
Nice to meet again!

What a worderful way to learn

What a wonderful way to learn a new vocabulary by exercise and play.
Hopefully we have fun and time to update this blog.
This is our opportunity to improve our skills of English,
let us use it for us and we are not everybody, somebody, anybody or nobody...
we are mabisi and  we are proud of it ;)

Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody

This is a story about four people named Everbody, Somebody, Anybody
and Nobody.  There was an important job to be done and Everybody was
sure that Somebody would do it.  Anybody could have done it, but
Nobody did it.  Somebody got angry about that, because it was
Everybody's job.  Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody
realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.  It ended up that Everbody
blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Dear  Birgit!
How wonderful You did it.Here we are in Poland meeting interesting people and enjoying the life.

We are standing in front of a Café
 where marshall Mannerheim used
to eat omelett with lobster. So did we too!

We will see next week. I am looking  forward to see You and Sirpa and our nice group.
Love Marianne
